Centre Point Sabah is situated in Kota Kinabalu, the Capital of the State of Sabah in Malaysia. Sited just off the main coastal highway and within walking distance from the Central Business District, Centre Point Sabah is a one-stop Shopping, Dining, Office, Carpark, Entertainment and amusement complex serving the State Capital.
The development of this mammoth project was undertaken by Sunyap Development Sdn Bhd, a wholly own local company of Pacific Construction Co. Ltd, Taiwan in joint venture with the Kota Kinabalu City Hall. The Project was implemented on a 4.6 acre site and by three phases. Phases I and II consisting of six Level of Shopping area with Queen Department Store as anchor tenant and 450 others Shops, 1380 car park bays on 6 Level, 6 floor of office space, 28 lane Bowling Centre, City Parade and Entertainment areas, were developed simultaneously and completed in mid May 1990. The RM 600 Milions complex was officially opened by The Chief Minister of Sabah on 25th August 1990.
The Final phase, consisting of Palm Square, an up-market establishment for Branded goods and CPS Tower, an ultra morden office block with 80ft Atrium was completed in 1997.
